This thesis is entitled "The description of linguistic landscape at Kelapa Satu Beach Kupang". This study was conducted to answer the research questions: (1) What are the Linguistic Landscapes used in the Kelapa Satu Beach areas, (2) What are the functions of Linguistic Landscape on the Kelapa satu Beach areas. The aims of this study are to the language used in the linguistic landscape and then classify the function of the LL on Kelapa satu Beach. The type of method used in this study was the qualitative-descriptive method. The writer took 12 photos to be the research subject there are 6 billboards and 6 signs. The data were analyzed based on the theory in Landry and Bourhis in Firdausiyah (2019). The function of LL is classified into informative function and symbolic function. The result of data analysis showed that there was 6 LL found on Kelapa satu Beach which is 3 from TOP-DOWN category and 3 from BOTTOM-UP category. And it is consisted of 5 billboards as informative function and 1 billboards as symbolic function. Based on the billboards around the beach, the writer found out that most of the LL on Kelapa satu Beach is using Indonesian and some of them are using English, Arabian, Kupang Malay and Latin.
