This study focuses on the language politeness found in the communication between students and their supervisors. This study was conducted to find out the forms, strategies and scales of language politeness that are used by students of class A of “class of 2017” of English Study Program of Nusa Cendana University. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data of this study were taken from conversation in WhatsApp Messenger due to the Covid-19 Pandemic containing forms, strategies and scale of language politeness which are used by students of class A of “class of 2017” of English study program of Nusa Cendana University. The subject of this study was 10 students of of class A of “class of 2017”. The results of data analysis showed that the mostly used form of language politeness was indirect form, which means that the students delivered their purpose in communication with their supervisors implicitly. While the mostly used strategy in communicating with their supervisors is the fourth strategy that is the most polite one, because there is a level of social distance that involves the age difference between students and their supervisors. While the mostly used politeness measurement scale that were used by the students in communicating with their supervisors were indirectness scale and social distance scale, where indirectness scale means the more indirect a speech is, the more polite the speech is.
