Candlenut (Aleurites moluccana) is one type of plant in the forestry sector from the Euphorbiaceae family that has many uses and has the potential to be developed. The main problem faced in generative propagation of candlenut (through seeds) is the long seed germination period, which is about 4-6 months. Therefore, candlenut seeds need a pre-treatment to break dormancy and increase germination by providing growth stimulants (ZPT) and liquid organic fertilizer through seed soaking. This study was conducted to determine the effect of giving tofu liquid waste and cow urine, on breaking the dormancy of candlenut seeds. The research method used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD), which consisted of two factors, namely concentration and immersion time. The concentration factor consisted of control treatment (Aquades), POC tofu liquid waste and cow urine ZPT with concentrations of 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% respectively. The immersion time factor consisted of control, immersion for 1 day, 2 days and 3 days. The results showed that the concentration (A) and soaking time (B) of cow urine and tofu liquid waste had a significant effect on the percentage of germination, germination rate, number of leaves, and height of candlenut, single treatment A5 concentration (cow urine concentration 25%) and treatment single duration of soaking B2 (2 days soaking) was the best treatment in breaking the dormancy of candlenut seeds, the interaction between concentration and soaking time did not significantly affect the percentage of germination, germination rate, number of leaves, and height of candlenut (Aleurites moluccana).
