This study is entitled “A sociolinguistic analysis of code mixing used in Maudy Ayunda’s YouTube channel”. The main objectives of this research are to know the types of code mixing used by Maudy Ayunda in her YouTube channel and to find out the level of code mixing used by Maudy Ayunda in her YouTube channel. The data of this research were merely taken from 7 (seven) videos of Maudy Ayunda which contained many data of code mixing in Bahasa and English. The types of research used to describe the code mixing used by Maudy Ayunda’s in her YouTube channel was a descriptive qualitative. It was chosen for classifying the types of code mixing, and the purposes why they used code mixing. The dominant type of code mixing which is always used by Maudy Ayunda is alternation code mixing (71 times). The second is insertion code mixing (77 times), and the third is congruent lexicalization code mixing (10 times). There are six levels of code mixing which are used by Maudy Ayunda. The dominant used are; phrase level (77 times), word level (71 times), clause level (23 times), baster level (10 times), repetition level (3 times), and idiom level (1 times).
