This thesis is entitled: Using Animation Video Songs to Improve Listening skill of Second Grade Students of SMP Negeri 1 Kupang in Academic Year 2022/2023. The problems of this study is can the use of animation video songs improve listening skill of second grade students o SMP Negeri 1 Kupang in academic year 2022/2023?. The aim of this study is to know whether the use of video songs can improve listening skill of second grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Kupang in academic year 2022/2023. Population and sample of this study was the second grade students of smp n 3 kupang and the sample was 51 students of two groups. In conducting this study, the writer use quantitative method. The data resource is second grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Kupang. The data collection is used test. The writer analyze the data in pre test and post test by using T-test Formula and Based on the findings and discussion on chapter four above, the writer concludes that using animation video songs can improve listening skill of second grade students of SMPN 3 KUPANG in academic year 2022/2023, because the result of statistical calculation indicated that the value of t test was 2,94 and the value of df 49 at level of significance 5% was 2,02. It can be concluded that t-test was higher than t-table where 2,94 >2,02. Since t-test value is higher than t table values thus, the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. It means that the use of animation video songs can improve listening skill of second grade students of SMPN 3 KUPANG in academic year 2022/2023. Keywords: Animation video songs, Listening Skill.
