<note>The water is a basic need for all life, both humans, animals, nor plants, which cannot be replaced by other substances. In the process of life itself, humans definitely need water as a basic need so that water is a natural resource on which living creatures live. Flow discharge is a unit to approximate the hydrological values of processes that occur in the field. The ability to measure flow rate is very necessary to determine the potential of water resources in a watershed area. This study aims to find out how much water discharge is in the Liliba River in Kupang City in the Upstream, Central and Downstream watersheds based on the results of direct measurements in the field using a flow meter and floating method. The measurement of water discharge uses two measurements, namely the Flow meter and the Floating method. Measurement were made 9 times in the Upper, Middle and Downstream watersheds. The results of this study are 1). Based on the calculation results, the average discharge (Q) uses a Flow meter (Upstream Watershed 0.643 L/s, Central Watershed 1.623 L/s and Downstream Watershed 1.578) and uses the Floating method (Upstream Watershed 0.910 L/s, Middle Watershed 1.705 L/s and Downstream Watershed 1.471 L/s).
