<note>The purposes of this research are to find out perceptions on the use of learning media zoom meeting during pandemic in speaking class by the seventh semester students of English Department of Nusa Cendana University and to identify the challenges on the use of learning media zoom meeting by the seventh semester student. This research used qualitative descriptive method. The subject of this research was 25 students in seventh semester students of the English department of Nusa Cendana University. This research used interview and questionnaire as instruments to collect the data. The results of the interview data shows that students gave positive and negative perceptions. Eight students said that media zoom meeting make them enjoyed, interested, and zoom meeting was not influenced their speaking skills. Beside that two students gave negative perception, they said zoom meeting was not good, less concentrated because  though  online video  learning, they not participate actively in learning process, was not enjoyed, was not interested and was influenced their speaking skills. Meanwhile, The results of the questionnaire data shows that there were five main challenges to used Zoom Meeting during pandemic in speaking class which include the internet connection was not stable, internet quota was limited, difficult to interact, the video suddenly stopped, and the sound was interrupted.
