The title of this study is An Analysis of Grammatical Errors of Google Translate of Malin Kundang Text from Indonesian Into English. Google translate is a free machine translation service provided by google inc. to translate a section of text, documents, or webpage into another language. Nowadays, most people like using Google Translate include the students to make easier in translating the language. The purpose of this research is to find out the grammatical errors produced by Google Translate in translating Malin Kundang text. This research used qualitative descriptive method to describe the translation result produced by Google Translate. The object of this research was sentences/paragraphs in the children’s bilingual book Malin Kundang translated into English by Google Translate. The writer used the translation result produced by Google Translate as the source for the analysis. Based on the translation result produced by google translate the writer found that there were four types of errors made by Google Translate. The errors were omission, Addition, misformation and misordering. Key words: Grammatical Errors, Google Translate, Malin Kundang, Translation
