This thesis is entitled “An Analysis of Intrinsic Elements of The Novel “Charlotte’s Web”. The problem of this study are: (1) what are the intrinsic elements of the novel “Charlotte’s Web”?. (2) what is the interrelation between an intrinsic element and the title of the novel “Charlotte’s Web”?The objectives of this study are: (1) to find out the intrinsic element of the novel “Charlotte’s Web”. (2) to find out the interrelation between the intrinsic element and the title of the novel “Charlotte’s Web”. The method used is qualitative descriptive method. The data source used in this research is the primary from “Charlotte’s Web” novel and the secondary data are taken from various sources such as internet sites and journals that are related to the primary data. The result of the research analysis of all the intrinsic elements contained in the novel “Charlotte’s Web” by E. B White. The theme of this novel is friendship. The character are Charlotte, Wilbur, Fern, Mr. Arable, Mrs. Arable, Avery, Mr. Zuckerman, Mrs. Edith Zuckerman, Lurvy, Dr. Dorian, Templeton, Goose, and old sheep. The plot used in this novel is chronological progress. The setting contained place, time, and situation. This novel usesthe third person point of view and the message of the novel “Charlotte’s Web” is a best friend will find some ways to save us from our problems without reservation.
