This thesis is entitle “ An Analysis Of Idioms In Tii Dialect of Rotenese,Indonesia”. There are two problems that have to solved in this research, namely: 1) what are idioms used in Tii Dialect of Rotenese?, 2) what are the meanings of idioms used in Tii Dialect of Rotenese?. The aims of this thesis are : 1) to identifying idioms in Tii Dialect of Rotenese, 2) to describing the meanings of idioms used in Tii Dialect of Rotenese. In analyzing the data the writer used Adam Makkai theory.This research used descriptive qualitative method to collect the data in studies about analysis idioms in Tii Dialect.data resource was taken from native speaker live in lentera village. In conducting the research the writer used two method of data colection, namely: 1) interview, 2) note taking. In data analysing the data the writer used two method namely: 1) transcribing the interviewed data into text, 2) describing the meaning of idioms used in Tii Dialect of Rotenese. Based on the data, the writer has found some idioms used in Tii Dialect of Rotenese, namely “ isi batik” meaning “memiliki tubuh kurus” ( skinny).
