This study is entitled “The Ability in Writing Narrative Text by Using Pixar Animation Wall-E of the Fifth Semester Student of English Department of Nusa Cendana University.” The research questions to be answered in this study are, to what extent are the fifth semester students of English department UNDANA able to write narrative text by using pixar animation Wall-E and what are the mistakes and difficulties faced by students in writing narrative text by using the pixar animation Wall-e. The focus of this research is the ability in writing narrative text by using Pixar animation Wall-E. The writer used descriptive-qualitative method in this research. The population of this research were the fifth semester student of English Study Program at Nusa Cendana University; with the sample from class A of the fifth semester students consisting of 26 students in total number. The instrument used in collecting the data is writing narrative text task. The result of the data analysis shows that the ability in writing narrative text by using Pixar animation Wall-E of the fifth semester students of English department of Nusa Cendana University in class A is at a good to a fair level. However, there are still problems in their writing. The common mistakes in their writing are related to grammatical items and mechanic use.
