The study is entitled An Analysis on Taboo Words Found in Bad Boys II Movie. This study was conducted to describe and analyze the kinds of taboo words, the functions of taboo words of Bad Boys II Movie. This study applied descriptive qualitative method. The data was this movie script. The result of this studies showed that there are taboo words of profanity appears 13 times, epithets 12 times, obscenity 6 times, and vulgarity 13 times. Meanwhile, the functions of taboo word to draw attention to oneself appear 14 times, to be provocative 22times, to show contempt 11 times, and to mock authority 5 times. The writer concluded that the film writer often used taboo words profanity which related to religious term in profane. Meanwhile, the film writer often used the functions of taboo words such to draw attentions tooneself which mean to have power in gaining listener’s attention. According to the result in this study, the writer concluded that all selected the movie of Bad Boys II Movie contain taboo words which represent sarcasm or insult to religion term.
