The formulation of the problems in this study are (1) how does financial literacy affect the financial performance of MSME actors, (2) how do demographic factors influence the financial performance of MSME actors, (3) how does financial literacy and demographic factors influence the financial performance of MSME actors. The aims of this study were to: (1) identify and analyze the effect of financial literacy on the financial performance of MSME actors, (2) identify and analyze the influence of demographic factors on the financial performance of MSME actors, (3) identify and analyze the effect of financial literacy and demographic factors on MSME financial performance. This research was conducted on micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Maulafa sub-district, Kupang city. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research sample used simple random sampling. The sample used in this study was 92 respondents taken from micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Maulafa sub-district, Kupang city. The data analysis technique used in this research is instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression test, t test, F test, and test of the coefficient of determination with the help of the SPSS version 26 software program. The results of the t test test on financial performance are that the financial literacy variable has a partial effect on financial performance with a significance level of 0.000, less than 0.05. Demographic factor variables which include educational indicators have a partial effect on financial performance with a significance level of 0.007 less than 0.05.
