This study focused on finding and describing the intrinsic elements and the values of education character found in “Selembar itu Berarti” by Suryaman Amipriono. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative method. The data sources in this study were “Selembar itu Berarti” by Suryaman Amipriono. The data collection techniques used in this study were documentation study and note taking. The data analysis technique were; (1) identifying, (2) describing. Furthermore, the result of study shows that its theme is Independent. Secondly, its plot is mixed plot where its sequences of structure include exposition, inciting, rising action, climax and resolution. Thirdly, the characters and characterizations include the major character Diaz (independent, diligent, and determined), Putri (independent, intelligent, and hardworking) and Ms.Hera (patient, compassionate, and kind) and 9 other characters serving as minor characters. Fourthly, the setting of Selembar itu Berarti by Suryaman Amipriono; its setting of place covers with (Kelantan village, Tarutung, landfill, Two Tombs and in Terminal), its setting of time is in the (morning, afternoon, evening and night), its social setting (connected through figures and the community). Next, point of view used in Selembar itu Berarti by Suryaman Amipriono is the third person “He/She” Omnipotent. Lastly, there were fourteen values of education character obtained from Selembar itu Berarti. They were; Religious, Honest, Discipline, Hard Work, Creative, Independent, Democratic, Curiosity, The Spirit of Nationality, Rewarding Achivement, Friendly/communicative, Enthusiastic to Read, Social Care, and Responsibility. Based on the result, it can be concluded that tere are many education character values can be found and learned by in any kind of writing, in this case Selembar itu Berarti by Suryaman Amipriono.
