This study is entitled: “An Analysis of Personal Deixis in Thie Dialect of Rote Language”. The aims of this study are to find out the form of personal deixis in thie dialect of Rote language and to find out the reference of personal deixis in Thie dialect of Rote language. In conducting this research, it is used descriptive qualitative method. In collecting the data, the researcher uses elicitation and recording. The researcher focuses on identifying the personal deixis in Thie dialect based on theory of Levinson (1983). The result showed that in Thie dialect of Rote language there are three types of personal deixis consisting of first person, second person, and third person sonsisting of singular and plural. The singular forms of personal deixis consist of Au (1 Singular), O (2 Singular), Ana (3 Singular). The plural forms of personal deixis consist of Ita (1 Plural Inclusive), Ai (1 Plural Exclusive), Ei (2 Plural), Ara (3 Plural).
