<note>A study on optimizing the adsorption of Eriochrome Black-T dye using an adsorbent based on bile banana peel biomass (Musa paradisiaca) from Flores Island, NTT, has been carried out. The research was carried out through the preparation of bile banana peel biomass samples, the activation process of bile banana peel biomass using 0,5 M HCl, and determining the optimum concentration, mass, pH, contact time, and temperature. Each parameter was determined by varying concentrations of 10; 20; 30; 40; 50 and 60 mg/L, mass variations of 0,1; 0,2; 0,3; 0,4 and 0,5 grams, variations in pH 3; 4; 5; 7; 8; and 9, time variations 60; 70; 80; 100; and 120 minutes, and temperature variations 30; 40; 50 and 60 ℃. The results showed that the optimum concentration of Eriochrome Black-T adsorbed using an adsorbent based on bile banana peel biomass 30 mg/L with an absorption efficiency of 80.068%, an optimum mass of 0.5 gram with an absorption efficiency of 85.320%, an optimum pH of 3 with an absorption efficiency of 98.105 %, the optimum time is 60 minutes with an absorption efficiency of 98.105 % and the optimum temperature is 30 ℃ with an absorption efficiency of 98.105 %.
