<note>Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang optimasi adsorpsi zat warna metil biru menggunakan adsorben berbasis biomassa kulit pisang bile (Musa paradisiaca) asal pulau Flores NTT, teraktivasi HCl. Kondisi optimum adsorpsi zat warna metil biru dipelajari menggunakan beberapa parameter seperti inisial konsentrasi awal, massa adsorben, pH larutan, waktu kontak dan suhu. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa adsorpsi zat warna metil biru oleh adsorben biomassa kulit pisang bile teraktivasi HCl berlangsung maksimum pada konsentrasi 50 mg/L, massa 0,2 gram, pH 7, waktu kontak 60 menit dan suhu 30℃ dengan kapasitas adsorpsi dan efesiensi penyerapan secara berturut-turut sebesar 6,219 mg/g dan 99,497 %, 6,2181 mg/g dan 99,489 %, 6,2183 mg/g dan 99,492 %, 6,2184 mg/g dan 99,494 % dan 6,204 mg/g dan 99,212 %.
