This is thesis entitled: A Study On Polite Expressions Of Some Selected Language Functions Use By Native Speaker of Amanuban Dialect of Uab Meto language”. The problems of this research are: (1) What are polite expressions of some selected language functions used by native speakers of Amanuban dialects of Uab Meto language? (2) What are ordinary expressions of some selected language functions by native speakers of Amanuban dialect of Uab Meto language? (3) What is the meaning of those polite expressions?. This study aims to: Identify the polite expressions of some selected language functions used by native speakers of the Amnauban dialect of the Uab Meto language, to find out the ordinary expressions of some selected language functions, and to describe to meaning of those polite expressions. The method used was descriptive qualitative method. The techniques used to collect were observation, interview, and recording. The result of this study showed that there are polite expressions fund in Uab Meto especially when adresing someone also there are someone ordinary expressions that has polite expressions such us Tunom pah, Bukae ahoit, koenok tem pah, and au sae neu kabin ahoit. The meaning of these expressions contain meaning in which the can be use according to the situation of when there are used.
