<note>This thesis is entitled: USING TEXT TWIST GAME TO IMPROVE ENGLISH VOCABULARY MASTERY OF CLASS VII-A OF SMPN 2 FATULEU BARAT IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2022/2023.  The problems of this research is: How can Text Twist Game improve students English vocabulary of  class VII-A of SMPN 2 Fatuleu Barat in the Academic Year 2022/2023? This study aims at finding out the use of Text Twist Game to improve English vocabulary mastery of class VII-A of SMPN 2 Fatuleu Barat in the Academic Year 2022/2023. The research was conducted in SMP Negeri 2 Fatuleu Barat, especially class VII-A students in the Academic Year 2022/2023 with the total number of the subjects was 20 students. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). In collecting the data, the students were given the essay and multiple choice tests as the instrument to collect the data. The number of items of the test was 20 items. The results shows that using Text Twist Game improved English vocabulary mastery of class VII-A of SMPN 2 Fatuleu Barat in the academic year 2022/2023 because student scores increased in the post-test that is 1.650, the mean score also increased in the post-test that is 80,25 (75 %) and level of ability of students increased in the post-test which is categorized as excellent level.
