<note>This research is aimed to know the effect speaking fluency of the students and the problem faced by them regarding their fluency. So, the objective of this research is knowing 
the students speaking fluency and their problems regarding fluency. In this study, the researcher used descriptive qualitative. The research data obtained by conducting observation and interview. The research subject in this study is students from class C at class speaking and consist of 40 students. The observation was conducted during the class speaking with the students doing presentation. The researcher used speaking fluency scale to determine students fluency. Then, the researcher took 10 respondents from class C for the interview session. The result of the research showed that the students had good fluency with two respondent achieved scale 5, four respondent achieved scale 4 and the last four respondents achieved scale 3. The researcher also found that their problems related their fluency were anxiety, feeling nervous, limited vocabulary and lack of confidence.
