<note>This study aimed to acknowledge how do the students improve their vocabulary mastery through watching English riddle videos. The data were taken from the pre-test scores, post-test scores, and questionnaires. To analyze the data, both qualitative and quantitative approaches were utilized in this research. As the result of this research, it shows that there was a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores that indicates the improvements in students’ vocabulary mastery. The mean score of the pre-test was 51,9 while the post-test score was 75,79. The questionnaires were  analyzed to answer the research problem. The data showed that  95% of students agreed that the animation on the riddle videos has helped them learn new vocabulary. 85% of the students agreed that the subtitles in the videos have helped them improve their vocabulary mastery. Furthermore, students’ interest in solving the riddles on the videos do help students to learn new vocabulary, and 80% of students in total agreed to this.  In addition, the explanation of the riddle  shows the same result with 80% of students agreed to this that their vocabulary mastery was increased.
