The granting of remissions to convicts of criminal acts of corruption is regulated in Law Number 22 of 2022 concerning Corrections which states that remissions are given to convicts who have fulfilled certain requirements without exception. The problem in this research is to determine the legal ratio of granting remissions to convicts of criminal acts of corruption in the penitentiary system in Indonesia. This research is normative legal research or library legal research. According to Soerjono Soekanto and Sri Mamudji, they explain that normative legal research or library legal research. This research data is literature collected from several legal materials consisting of primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. The data collected is then taken with a statutory and conceptual approach, then interpreted grammatically or according to grammar and then used as material for discussion. The results of this research show that the legal ratio of granting remissions to convicts of criminal acts of corruption in the penitentiary system in Indonesia is closely related to the efficiency of the coaching program implemented while convicts are serving their criminal term in correctional institutions because in the implementation of coaching for convicts there are rights and obligations that must be fulfilled by them. convicts including convicts of corruption crimes.
