The problem of this research is identifying types of phrasal verbs in lyrics of songs and describing the meaning of the phrasal verb found in song lyrics. This research aims to identify and categorize English Phrasal verbs in song lyrics. The research was conducted on 10 songs selected by the researcher, including Taylor Swift's Anti-Hero, Style, Rosa Linn-SNAP, Doechii's What It Is, The Weeknd's-Reminder, Chris Brown-under the influence, Arash Buana and Raissa Anggiani: If u could see me crying in my room, New Hope Club-Know Me Too Well, Seafret Atlantis and Doja Cat feat.This research used qualitative descriptive, and the type of qualitative descriptive used in this research is content analysis applied to written or visual material. The documentation technique is used as a data collection technique. This research used Hart's (2017) theory to identify phrasal verbs and categorize them into phrasal verb forms such as transitive (separable), intransitive, phrasal prepositional verbs, and prepositional verbs. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that there are three types phrasal verbs found in 10 songs selected by the researcher, from the ten songs, it can be concluded that there are 24 intransitive verbs, 18 transitive (separable and non-separable), and 2 prepositional phrasal verbs were found. The study also provides suggestions for future research in examining phrases in other forms. English learners can benefit from knowing the types of phrasal verbs in song lyrics or other written texts. Keywords: Phrasal Verb, Song Lyric
