<note>The title of this research is “FORMS AND MEANINGS IN RHYMES FOUND IN THE TRADITIONAL CEREMONY OF DERO IN MASU VILLAGE, NGADA REGENCY”. This research has two research problems. Firstly, What are the forms of the rhymes found in the dero ceremony? Secondly, What are the semantic meanings of the forms of rhymes that exist in the dero ceremony? The aims of this study are: firstly, this study aims to identify the forms of rhymes used in dero traditional ceremonies. Secondly, this study aims to describe the semantic meanings of the rhymes performed at the dero ceremony. In conducting this study, the researcher used a descriptive qualitative method. The data resource of this study was the dero Traditional Ceremony. The data were collected using audio recordings, interviews, and note-taking techniques. The researcher analyzed the data by transcribing, identifying, and describing techniques. Based on the data analysis it has been found that there are three rhymes. The findings conclude that forms and meanings found in the have one form for every rhyme, and each rhyme has its meaning.
