This study is entitled “A Study On Forms and Meanings Of Roka Nopo Api Ritual in Nangamboa Village, Nangapanda Sub-District of Ende Regency”. This study was conducted to answer the research questions: (1) what are the linguistic forms involved at Roka Nopo Api ritual? (2) what are the meaning of Roka Nopo Api ritual in Nangamboa village, Nangapanda sub-district of Ende regency. the aims of this study are: (1) to identifying form of Roka Nopo Api ritual in Nangamboa village, Nangapanda sub-district of Ende regency. (2) to describe the meaning of Roka Nopo Api ritual in Nangamboa village, Nangapanda sub-district of Ende regency. The method used was descriptive qualitative method. The data sources are five informants who know about this ritual. The data were collected by using some techniques, such as: interview, note taking, recording. The data were collected by using: transcribing, identifying, tabling and describing. The results show that Roka Nopo Api ritual have two forms of speech, There are exclamatory sentences and imperative sentences. There are three types of meaning from seven types of meaning from Leech found in forms of Roka Nopo Api ritual namely: social meaning, affective meaning and conceptual meaning.
