The main objective of this research is to know the types of associative meaning that found in the opening prayer and spell of Ute Weru Lolo ritual. The writer used descriptive-qualitative method in this research. The data source of this research are the content of opening prayer and spells of Ute Weru Lolo ritual. The instrument used in collecting the data is mobile phone. The result of the data analysis shows that there are five types of associative meaning that found in the opening prayer and there are three types of associative meaning that found in the spells of Ute Weru Lolo ritual. It also found that there are seven uses of associative meaning that found in opening prayer and spells of Ute Weru Lolo ritual which are spiritual connection, Intention and focus, community bond, intention manifestation, symbolism and psychological effect. The five types of associative meaning that found in the opening prayer are fourteen connotative meanings, five social/stylistics meanings, three affective meanings, two reflective meanings and five collocative meaning. The three types of associative meaning that found in the spells are five connotative meanings, two social/stylistic meaning and three collocative meaning. Therefore, there are twenty-nine associative meaning found in the opening prayer of Ute Weru Lolo ritual and there are ten associative meaning found in spells of Ute Weru Lolo ritual.
