The problems of this research are : (1) what are the moral values found in the Hawu Miha nga Jhawa Miha folklore, (2) what are the educational values found in the Hawu Miha nga Jhawa Miha folklore, and (3) how is the characterization of the main characters in Hawu Miha nga Jhawa Miha folklore. This resarch aims are : (1) finding out the moral values of Hawu Miha nga Jawa Miha folklore, (2) finding out the educational values of Hawu Miha nga Jawa Miha folklore, and (3) explaining the characterization of the main characters in Hawu Miha nga Jhawa Miha folklore. The method used was descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted in Materae Raemude, Sabu Raijua, East Nusa Tenggara. The informants of this research are two native speakers of Sabu Raijua. In colecting the data, the researcher used semi structured interview, audio recording, and note taking. The data were analysed follows the successive steps, they are, identifying data, characters analysis, classification of data, data analysis and data interpretation. The results show that the educational values from the folklore are poblem solving, culture awarness, historical understanding, and appreciation of nature. Moral values are responsibiity, honesty, compassion, gratitude, geneoristy and hard work. Keywords : Educational, Moral, Value, Folklore
