<note>This study aims to find out the students’ perceptions on the use of Final Match Video of Real Madrid vs Liverpool in Champions League 2021/2022 in speaking class. In conducting this research, the writer used descriptive qualitative method. The writer conducted this procedure by gathering theories or concepts of experts that are related to the topic. The source of data in this research was third semester students of the English Department of Nusa Cendana University in the academic year 2023/2024. The writer used cluster sampling to determine the number of research subjects. Questionnaire and interview as the techniques to collect data. Based on the data have been collected, the students who dislike football have a perception that using football match video is actually effective in speaking class as a learning media. These students agree if the lecturer uses other videos like this for future speaking lessons, because even though they dislike football, they feel the positive impact of using the video like this on their speaking skills. When even the students who dislike football feel the benefits of using a football video as a learning media, then imagine the feelings of those who love football. They will enjoy the learning activity even more and help the others who have zero knowledge about football which will create more conversation during the presentation.
