<note>This study aims to describe the implementation of audio-visual media in teaching vocabulary and to find the problems students face in learning English vocabulary through audio-visual media. In this study, there are two research problems, namely; how can audiovisual media be implemented in teaching vocabulary to seventh grade students, and what are the problems faced by the students in the learning English by using audiovisual media in vocabulary. The writer use library research and field research as the research procedures. The writer dot his research in 2023. The writer only selects one class, where consists of 30 students. The techniques use to collect the data are questionnaires and
observation. The writer use identification and description techniques in analyzing the data. The result of this study is that the implemntation of audiovisual media can help students in the learning vocabulary. The problems face by students in the learning vocabulary using audiovisual media include; the teacher does not explain the learning material first, the teacher does not give instruction to students to form groups, the teacher does not provide examples of correct vocabulary pronuncation, the audio playing by the teacher is not clear, the images display is blurry, the use of audio which is inconsistent with the material.</note>
