The aims of this study was to find out the forms of Kolor language variation used by Rongga Koe community in East Manggarai and the functions of using Kolor language variations in social interaction. The research method that was used in this research was a qualitative descriptive method. Techniques that were used to collect the data were observation and interview. The research results showed the forms and function of the Kolor language variations used by the Rongga Koe community in East Manggarai regency, including a) forms of vocabulary variations, found in the idiolects gan (ghan), baen (mbaen), gemi (ghemi), and jao (zao), and based on sociolect; on the speaker's status and social class. Sociolectical variations were found based on speaker status variations of the Kolor language expressed by young and old but have the same meaning, including beli' (goe), sulak (kador), eran (ngguat), ndeso (bolang), mbeza (pamba), etc. Kolor language variation based on the social class, including ibu, bapak, kraeng, tuang guru, pak, nggita and gau. b) Kolor language variations in terms of formality is found in the words papa, ema, mama, ene, kraeng, tuang; c) the functions of the words Kraeng, bapak, ibu, pak and tuang guru to address speakers who have high social status, mama, papa, ene, ema to call speakers who have middle social status and low social status, while the word gau is used by someone when calling someone of the same age or equal and the word nggita is used by someone to address someone of their age older.
