<note>Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang penentuan waktu kontak optimum dan model kinetika adsorpsi ion logam Cu(II) menggunakan adsorben MM@SiO2-kitosan. Penentuan waktu kontak dan model kinetika dilakukan menggunakan spektrofotometer Ultra Violet Visible (UV-Vis). Hasil analisis menunjukkan waktu kontak optimum adsorpsi ion logam Cu(II) adalah 40 menit dengan kapasitas adsorpsi sebesar 14,37 mg/g, dan mengikuti model kinetika pseudo orde dua tipe 1 dengan nilai R2 = 0,975 dan nilai konstanta laju reaksi sebesar 0,01 g.mg-1.menit-1.
