Marine debris is the residual waste of an unusable product or item found in coastal and marine areas. The waste problem found in fifteen coastal areas in Ende Regency is the focus of this study. The research locations carried out in June to July 2023 were made transects 100 meters long and 10 meters wide with a total area of 15,000 m2. The waste found in the research locations was all types of waste collected into plastic containers that had been labeled, cleaned, sorted by category, and measured the length and weight of the waste using a measuring instrument. The results showed that the waste found in fifteen beach areas in Ende Regency was influenced by several factors including human activities such as tourism, fisheries activities, and natural influences such as current movements, tides, and oceanographic dynamics. The waste obtained were classified into plastic, cork/foam, cloth, glass and ceramics, metal, paper and cardboard, rubber, wood, and other miscellaneous categories. The description is shown in the research results of the types of waste found on the beach with a total of 5,052 pieces, with a total density of 0.337 pieces/meter2. The total length of waste pieces found in each research location was 76955.9 cm with a total density of 5.130 cm/meter2, while the total weight of waste was 52.702 kilograms with a total density of waste weight of 0.035 kg/meter2. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the total number of pieces of waste, total length, and total weight of waste found on the south coast and north coast of Ende Regency.
