<note>This study entitled The Features of Code Mixing Used by the Teachers of English at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang. The study has been conducted for 1 month to answer four questions; (1) What are the dominant types of code mixing used by the teachers of English in the teachinglearning process at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang, (2) What are the features of intra sentential code mixing used by the teachers of English in teaching learning process at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang, (3) What are the features of intra lexical code mixing used by the teachers of English in teaching learning process at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang, (4) What are the features of involving a change of pronunciation used by the teachers of English in teaching learning process at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang, The aims are to describe the dominant types of code mixing used by the teachers of English in teaching learning process at SMK Negeri 1 Kupang, and the describe the features of intra sentential code mixing, intra lexical code mixing and involving a change of pronunciation. The method used in this study was a descriptive qualitative. Two teachers of English were the subject of this research. This research has taken place at school of SMK Negeri 1 Kupang. The instruments used for data collection were a classroom observation, note taking and video recording. The result of the data shows that the most dominant types was the intra sentential code mixing, followed by the involving a change of pronunciation, and the less dominant types was the intra lexical code mixing.</note>
