The Southeast Asian Minister of Education Organization (SEAMEO) is a regional intergovernmental organization established in 1965 among governments of Southeast Asian countries to promote regional cooperation in education, science and culture in the region. One of the projects that is one of SEAMEO's priorities is the “Pre-Service Student Teacher Exchange in Southeast Asia” (SEA-Teacher Project). This project aims to provide an opportunity for pre-service student teachers from teacher education institutions and universities in Southeast Asia to have a teaching experience (Practicum in teaching) in other Southeast Asian countries. The author had the opportunity to actively participate in this program as one of the participants placed at Saint Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines. During the program, the author engaged in a diverse range of teaching experiences and cultural interactions at Saint Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines. This included classroom teaching sessions, collaboration with teachers, and participation in cultural activities to deepen understanding and appreciation of Filipino culture and educational practices. The objectives of the author's participation in the SEA-Teacher Project were multifaceted, encompassing applying theoretical knowledge in real classroom settings, enhancing pedagogical skills, adapting teaching methodologies to diverse learning needs, and gaining insights into regional education systems and practices.
