<note>The study has two aims : (1) to describe how animation movie helps students in practicing listening skills and (2) to describe how animation movie help students in practicing speaking skills. The study has employed descriptive qualitative method where classroom observation has been used in collecting primary data, while the secondary ones have been obtained through informal interview as well as documentary study. The results of the study show that the students’ participation in doing excercises both of listening and speaking practises has been considered high and students’ performances in listening and speaking through animation movie were improved compared to the learning English without using  animation movie as media.
