This study examines a linguistic phenomenon known as linguistic landscape, which consists of linguistic signs that are widely used in public spaces, one of which is exposed at the airport in this study El Tari International Airport in Kupang. As El Tari International Airport is a multicultural and multilingual environment where people from different linguistic backgrounds come together, studying the linguistic landscape at El Tari International Airport can help to uncover how languages are used for different purposes such as signage, announcements, advertisements and information displays. This study aims to investigate the signs of language used in the linguistic landscape and to identify the functions of language use in the airport environment. The research is qualitative in nature. Data were collected through documentation and direct observation. The research stages include data collection, data analysis and conclusion. The result show that the language signs used in the airport observed are mainly classified into two, which are monolingual and bilingual signs. The use of language signs in the airport environment functions as signage markers, warning markers, and information markers. The function of the language landscape at El Tari International Airport in Kupang shows the use of informational function and symbolic function. Keywords: Linguistic Landscape, Airport, Language Used
