This thesis is concerned with the utilization of English idiomatic expressions within the cinematic narrative of Deadpool 2 movie. Entitled "English Idiomatic Expressions Used in Deadpool 2 Movie" the research poses two primary inquiries: 1. What are the forms of English Idiomatic Expressions that used in Deadpool 2 Movie? 2. What are the meanings of English Idiomatic Expressions that used in Deadpool 2 Movie? The study meticulously categorizes 78 identified idioms into six distinct forms: substitute, proper name, abbreviation, English phrasal compound, figures of speech, and slang. By employing a qualitative approach, data collection is conducted, and meanings are expounded upon through contextual and conceptual lenses. Findings reveal a diverse array of idiomatic expressions, each imbued with layers of cultural and linguistic significance. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of how idiomatic language shapes character portrayal and narrative dynamics in contemporary cinema.
