<note>In study, the researcher using Duolingo as an application for teaching elementary school students. This study has three research aims: (1) To find out how is implementation of Duolingo as an English teaching application, for elementary school students in Kupang. (2) To find out the advantages and disadvantageous of using Duolingo an English teaching application, for elementary school students in Kupang. (3) To find out the potential problems that may appear during the implementation of Duolingo as an English teaching application, for elementary school students in Kupang.
The researcher found that Duolingo, with its various features, was able to attract students' interest in learning, maintain their concentration, and make students actively engage in the lesson. An important thing that happened along with the high participation and interest in the lesson was the concept of collective learning that allowed students to collaborate and maintaining interactions and discussions with other students and also with the researcher as their teacher in this research. The students were also satisfied with the features and interface on the application, making them have an extraordinary learning experience.
