<note>This study is entitled :” An Analysis Of Teacher’s Strategies In Teaching English Reading Comprehension At 2nd Grade Students of SMPN 10 Kupang In The School Year 2022/2023. This study was conducted to answer the research questions : 1.What strategies do the English teachers apply in teach English Reading Comprehension? 2.Why do the English teachers choose those strategies to teach English Reading Comprehension?. the aims of this study are: 1.To describe the strategies that the English teachers apply in teaching English reading comprehension 2.To describe the reasons of the using English teachers choosing the strategies in teaching English reading comprehension.The method used was descriptive qualitative method. The results show that teacher in teaching reading comprehension were scaffolding and QAR (Question Answer Relationship) strategy.
