<note>This thesis is entitled: ‘Teachers' Perceptions on Using Animation Video in Teaching English to The Eleventh Grade Students of SMA Negeri 1 Fatuleu Barat’. The research 
problem of this research is: What are the teachers' perceptions of using animation videos in teaching English to the eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Fatuleu Barat? This study aims to find out the teachers' perceptions on using animation video in teaching English to eleventhgrade students of SMA Negeri 1 Fatuleu Barat. The subject of this research are two English teacher of SMA Negeri 1 Fatuleu Barat. This study occurred at SMA Negeri 1 Fatuleu Barat, located in Translok Bisolo Street, Tuakau's village, Fatuleu Barat district, Kupang regency. East Nusa Tenggara. This study was conducted in the 2023/2024 academic year semester The research used a descriptive qualitative method. The techniques, uses for collecting data were observation and interviews. The data were analyzed, by using descriptive qualitative techniques through data reduction, display, and conclusion. The result of the study shows that the teacher had positive and negative perceptions of using animation video in teaching to improve English skills. The positive perception was that the animation video encouraged students to learn English and helped them improve their comprehension and vocabulary. The negative perception was that  some students faced an obstacle in using animation videos in teaching. They needed more time and a clear video to understand the subject. The students only focused on the video but overlooked the materials.
