<note>This research is about using reading corners to improve students’ English literacy at Petra Christian Elementary School Alak Kupang. This research aims to discover how to improve students’ English literacy by applying the reading corner and the results of enhancing students’ English literacy by applying the reading corner. This study used the mixed methods design to investigate the impact of reading corner activities on students’ reading comprehension, vocabulary acquisition, and speaking abilities. Data was collected through interviews with students and the teacher, field observations, and pre-test/post-test assessments. The findings show that the percentage of pre-test students who scored above 70 was 73.3%, while the post-test score increased to 80%. There has been an increase in students’ English literacy after the introduction of the reading corner, but this reading corner must be followed up with modifications, including the development of diverse reading materials, teacher involvement in material selection, additional teacher training, and regular evaluations.
