<note>This thesis is entitled: ‘Using Posse Strategy to Improve Reading Comprehension of Tenth Grade Students of SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in Academic Year 2023/2024’. The problem of this study is: how is the POSSE strategy implemented to improve the reading comprehension toward narrative texts of the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Kupang in academic year 2023/2024. This study aims to know how is the implementation of POSSE strategy to improve reading comprehension toward narrative texts of the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Kupang. The research design used was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted in SMAN2 Kupang especially tenth-grade students in academic year 2023/2024. The population of this study was 250 students, and 25 students were selected as the sample. The sampling technique used was purpose sampling technique. This study used qualitative and quantitative methods and consists of 1 cycles. In collecting data, students were given a multiple-choice test with a total number of 10 items. The writer used some formulas to analyze the data. This can be seen from the results of students' scores in the pre-test and post-test in the first cycle. The result shows that the POSSE strategy can improving reading comprehension of tenth-grade students at SMAN2 Kupang in academic year 2023/2024. This can be seen from the results of students' scores in the pre-test and post-test in the 1 cycle. The level of students' reading comprehension in the pre-test was below with the percentage was 80%. There were only 20 students of 25 students achieved minimum achievement criteria (KKM). In the post-test, the students' reading comprehension level was improved with the percentage was 96%. There were 24 students of 25 students achieved minimum achievement criteria (KKM). It can be concluded that the POSSE strategy can improve the reading comprehension of tenth-grade students at SMAN2 Kupang in academic year 2023/2024.
