This thesis is entitled “An Analysis of Forms and Meanings of Traditional Ende Song: Kumu Dubu Lima Bita”. This study aims to describe the forms of Kumu Dubu Lima Bita and meanings of Kumu Dubu Lima Bita traditional song from Ende. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative. The object of the study was the lyric of Kumu Dubu Lima Bita song. The instrument of this study is the writer herself as human instrument. The data was collected by editing, organizing and finding techniques. Then the data was analyzed by identifying, translating and analyzing techniques. The result of this study shows there are forms such as word which consist of noun, verb, adjective and adverb. Then the phrase consists of noun phrase, adjective phrase, verb phrase, adverb phrase and prepositional phrase. There are two kinds of sentences such as declarative and imperative sentences. There are also meanings such as lexical meaning, grammatical meaning and cultural meaning. Keywords: forms, meanings, traditional song, kumu dubu lima bita
