<note>This thesis is entitled: ‘An Analysis of the Vocabulary Acquisition Process through Mobile Legends: Bang Bang among Players in Meaningless Squad’. The problems of this study are: (1) What is the process of vocabulary acquisition through Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by players in the Meaningless squad? (2) What vocabulary have been acquired by the players in Meaningless squad through the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang?. This study aims: to identify vocabulary have been acquired by players in Meaningless squad through Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and to describe the process vocabulary acquistion by payers in Meaningless squad through Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. The research design was descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this research are 5 players in the Meaningless squad. This research instrument used was observation. The data analysis techniques are: identifying and describing techniques. The results show that the vocabulary have been acquired by player in Menaningless squad through Mobile Legends: Bang Bang are 22 jargons in using in player communications and 8 sentences spoken by the Host Announcer via audio. The vocabulary acquisition process carried out by players in the Meaningless Squad through Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is influenced by a combination of 3 methods, as follows: contextual learning process, social interaction process, and repetition and reinforcement process and also through 2 main factors such as the jargons used in communication and the Host Announcer. This research shows that players acquire vocabulary in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang through contextual learning, integrating new English jargons into their gaming experiences. Communication among players during gameplay serves as a natural environment for learning, reinforcing vocabulary through constant usage. The Host Announcer further enhances this process by providing auditory and visual cues, linking vocabulary with in-game actions. As players engage with various gaming elements, they gradually internalize and comprehend a wide range of vocabulary, improving their gaming proficiency through repeated exposure and usage. Overall, the game environment facilitates organic vocabulary acquisition, enriching players' linguistic skills within the context of gameplay. Social interaction learning, in the context of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the players in the Meaningless squad gain vocabulary from being around other players and then the players hear the jargons used in the scope of communication in the match and then understand the meaning of these jargons and also understand the function of these jargons. Repetition and reinforcement, in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, vocabulary acquisition is strengthened through repeated exposure and application in diverse gaming situations. Regular gameplay sessions and interaction with squad members allow players to solidify their understanding of gaming-related vocabulary, highlighting the role of continuous practice and reinforcement in enhancing comprehension and retention about understanding English vocabulary related to the gameplay process.
