<note>The Ngoa Ngi'i Ceremony is one of the traditional ceremonies performed by women during their first pregnancy, at seven months gestation in the Central Community of Nage. For the people of Ngera village, the Ngoa Ngi'i ceremony is a tradition that cannot be separated from their social life; if this ceremony is not performed by them, they will experience supernatural consequences or real consequences as part of the customary law implemented for the people in Ngera village. The people of Ngera village believe that the Ngoa Ngi'i ceremony has significant functions and meanings for their survival. Based on the explanation above, there are several issues to be discussed in this paper, specifically; (1) What are the social values found in the Ngoa Ngi'i ceremony? (2) What are the religious values found in the Ngoa Ngi'i ceremony? The purpose of this research is to understand the background of establishing the Ngoa Ngi'i ceremony in Ngera village, known as the Ngoa Ngi'i ritual procession, and to reveal the function and meaning of the Ngoa Ngi'i ceremony. In conducting this research, the writer uses a qualitative descriptive method. The research was conducted in the Central Community of Nage. The sources used in this research are oral sources. Data were collected from three informants. Data collection was done using several techniques, such as interviews, recordings, and documentation. There are six values that express social values in the Ngoa Ngi'i ritual, namely: collective conscience, solidarity, unity, honesty, helping each other, forgiveness.
