ABSTRACT ANALYSIS OF WATER TANK PRODUCTION PLANNING IN PT. AMIN FIBERGLASS IN KUPANG CITY By : Yoshua Michael Manafe, mentored by Dr. Anderias S. W. Langga, M. Si and Drs. Fred M. Dethan, M.Sc, Agr The purpose of this study was to determine the planning of water tank production carried out by PT. Amin Fiberglass In Kupang City. This research is a case study at PT. Amin Fiberglass. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using interview, observation and documentation. While the data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. Production volume is analyzed based on sales forecasting using single moving average method and break even point analys. The results showed that in carrying out water tank production activities, the chief technician of PT. Amin Fiberglass has made a production plan. But there are products that are planned but not realized, this is due to a lack of funds and also the reduced sales of water tank since the plague of Covid-19. PT. Amin Fiberglass never makes sales prediction, so the company cannot predict the number of products that will be produced in the coming period. The analyzed results sales forecasting seen that the number of products produced is suitable to the forecasting results in 2021. Water tank with a capacity of 1100 L as many as 7 units, 2200 L as many as 22 units, 5200 L as many as 6 units. And in 2022 there are 7 units of water tank with a capacity of 1100 L, 22 units of 2200 L, and 6 units of 5200 L. Next the calculation of the Break Even Point (BEP), it is known that the costs that will be issued by PT. Amin Fiberglass to produce water tanks in 2020 amounting to IDR 43.705.000. For the profit that is obtained on the sale of water tank as much as Rp.77,850,000, - The advice of the author is : PT. Amin Fiberglass needs to make sales prediction so that the company can predict the number of products produced so that the company can find out and prepare the necessary materials, and can find out the amount of costs required to produce water tanks by looking at the company's financial condition whether it is sufficient or not.
