The focus ini this study is in accordance with the formulation of the problem in this study, the purpose of this study is to describe the character possessed by Aditya in novel Obsesi Sang Narsis by Mira W or Mira Widjaja. This study uses the theory of Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. Freud mapped out human mental activities called the personality system or personality structure which is divided into the id, ego and superego. This study uses data sourced from the novel Obsession the Narcissist by Mira W. namely data consisting of phrases, sentences and paragraphs. the source of data in this study is the novel Obsession of the Narcissist by Mira W. Data collection in this study was carried out by reading repeatedly, underlining words, sentences, speech and behavior of the figure, identifying them, verifying the data and concluding the data and entering it into the coding card. The method in this research is descriptive-qualitative. Aditya's character is rude, arrogant, narcissistic, ambitious, jealous, perfectionist,loving, obsessive, and selfish. Aditya's figure is classified as a positive and negative character which is a collaboration of the three personality systems that dominate the character's behavior and also affect the character's behavior in a balanced way. The positive characters of Aditya are loving and perfectionist while the negative characters are rude, arrogant, narcissistic, ambitious, jealous, obsessive and selfish.
