This research is analysis of naming system of family names in Loli speech community, West Sumba regency. The problems of the study are: Firstly, what are family names in Loli community, West Sumba regency. Secondly, what are the meanings of family names in Loli Community, West Sumba regency. The study aims to identify family names in Loli community, West Sumba regency. The research design used was descriptive qualitative method. The research was conducted in Doka Kaka Village, Loli Sub district, West Sumba regency, in March, 2024. The writer selected four informants as the data resource. This study used techniques like observation, interviewing, and note-taking. The data was analyzed by using techniques for identifying and describing. The results show that there were 40 names found in Loli Community, West Sumba regency. They are: Leba Kadu Lewa, Lede Wada Rato, Rere Talo Popo, Nani Poro Tana, Neka Duga Roro, Dada Pati, Bulu Peka Milla, Nono Buni Kose, Loba Kaba Losa, Pigge Rewa Koko, Moto Ubbu Lele, Loja Dangu Manu, Buni Dengi Api, Lado Dadi Mesa, Kaleka Tena Bolo, Sairo Kadi Wanno, Bili Deku Rato, Lado Pare Saingo, Galu Dangu Kulla, and Wawo Jaga Uma.
