This research is entitled” A Study on the use of Facebook in English Learning by grade 8 students of state junior high school 6 Penfui Kupang Regency”. This research aims to determine the benefits of using Facebook as an English learning medium for grade 8 students. This research uses quantitative research methods with a sample of 10 students. The research results show that using Facebook can increase learning motivation, expand opportunities to practice English, and improve students' communication skills. This research was a qualitative research method of interviews with a purpose to ask about strategies for using Facebook in learning English in increasing the use of Facebook. The data were obtained by conducting interviews directly with grade 8 students at Junior High School 6 Penfui Kupang Regency, collecting all the results of the interviews given. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that all the students used Facebook, on the is strategies that considered different to perform establish communication with other Facebook users, so that you can strategy used also takes advantage where customers communicate with fellow friends via Facebook in the discussion group, students can utilize current media such as Facebook in English Learning Keywords: Social Media, Facebook, Increasing, English Learning
