The semantic of figurative languages found in BTS Songs are analyzed into two aspects that are the types and meanings. Song Lyric is expressing a person's personal feeling and thoughts through song. It means that the song can be used as the way to delivering idea and feeling so that the people can understand what the composer means. Method of data analysis by using figurative language theory of Abrams. Method of collecting data to analysis it, used download the videos, transcribing, listen and make notes. The theoretical approach to analyze the semantic meaning of figurative languages of four songs of BTS. In this study, the writer applied qualitative method. The writer focuses on twelve (12) types of figurative languages analysis, those are hyperbole, metaphor, simile, symbol, irony, apostrophe, paradox, synecdoche, metonymy, allusion, personification and allegory. The data of study acquired from four songs of BTS. “Dynamite, permission to dance,butter and Bad Decisions”. After analyzing the data of this study, the writer found thirty one (31) expressions ten (10) types of figurative language. There are six (6) hyperboles, one (1) metaphor, thirteen (13) similes, three (3) allusions, two (2) symbols, one (1) apostrophe, one (1) irony, two (2) synecdoches, one (1) metonymy and two (1) personification. Simile expression is the most popular figurative language used in four (4) songs of BTS. The data found that this study gives easy to English teaching.
